Baltic Alliance and CASPI BITUM JV LLP Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreements to Strengthen Bitumen Supply and Market Reach
Baltic Alliance today announced the signing of strategic cooperation agreements with CASPI BITUM JV LLP, one of the largest producers of road bitumen in Central Asia. This partnership is a key milestone in Baltic Alliance’s efforts to expand its global materials portfolio and support critical infrastructure markets with high‑quality bitumen products.
CASPI BITUM JV LLP operates the Aktau Bitumen Plant in Kazakhstan, a leading facility producing oxidised and modified road bitumen. The plant, established as a joint venture between KazMunayGas and CITIC Kazakhstan LLP, has been a significant supplier to regional infrastructure projects since 2013 and continues to expand production capacity to meet growing demand.
Under the cooperation agreements, Baltic Alliance and CASPI BITUM JV LLP will work together on a range of commercial and operational initiatives, including:
Optimizing supply chain integration to improve bitumen availability across key markets
Coordinating logistics and distribution networks to enhance customer access to high‑quality bitumen
Exploring joint market opportunities in infrastructure and industrial sectors where demand for bitumen is expanding
